These are some of the notes that I took during the lockdown of 2020 whilst practising my saxophone on the seafront at Southsea.

For many lockdown was a difficult, frightening, and traumatic time but I was l fortunate, almost by accident, to find it one of the best periods of my life. This was largely down to the kind, gentle, funny, generous, friendly people that I met there in the early mornings of that glorious summer. I made many friends down there and I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.
